Default My new toy needs some serious help!

I bought my 95 Civic Coupe EX about 2 weeks ago for $700 (couldn't pass it up). But whomever had this car b4 me was doing some weird shyt... Can't find the connection to run codes (been to auto zone and O'Reilly they can't find it either),they added a cold air intake that doesn't even fit properly ( hose that needs to be connected has a screw in it🤷🏾‍♀️), had to have the fan wired to a switch to be able to turn it off and on... other than the above, she runs pretty smooth. Any advise on the intake and the OBD would be greatly appreciated...
thanks in advance
(Update)
Found out i have an OBD1. So was able to check for codes and all im getting is code 12.

Try and get another wire harness to be safe. It could be a pain trying to figure out what's missing. The screw in hose is probably to stop a vacuum leak. You can try to figure out where it goes or let it stay.
