Does anyone have an .stl file for an EK dash, extra bonus for Haltech IC7 mounting? Apparently Honda decided to be $hitheads and raise a stink about 3d printed parts based on their cars and all the links I have found have been deleted.

 

If that's true and they're going after people trying to recreate discontinued parts, that's extremely gay. It could be an argument I guess if they still made them in their own factories, but they don't, so to flat out prevent people from trying to keep the market alive for these cars is a flat out dick move.

Maybe a Jap thing, I know Nintendo foams at the mouth any time they have an opportunity to send a mod developer a cease and desist.

I would also be extremely interested in 3D print files, or where to find them, precisely because all of these parts have been discontinued now.

So ******* stupid because honestly Honda could sell these 3D designs and I'd pay money for them. But to kill off people trying to keep the market alive while providing nothing of their own is a complete ******* move.

Maybe they should just change the title of the various files from "Honda" to "Big-H" and move on.

 

Make the "H" italic so it can fly under the radar as a Hyundai part.

I'll be doing a few searches over the weekend when I find time, I'll update this thread if I find anything but it's become a lot harder even for me over the last couple years to find things like this.
