Muffler
Looking for advise on which brand muffler get for my 97 Accord LX 4 Dr, 4 cyl. I see they are made of either Steel, Stainless Steel or Aluminized Steel. I live in salt zone(Midwest) and would like to know what material holds up best. I replaced my OEM muffler with another OEM 15 years back, now that OEM is not available anymore, I am looking at aftermarket alternatives. May be used OEM lasts longer than a new aftermarket?
I think it is leaking at B-pipe to muffler joint.
Looking for quick responses as I can't drive around the neighborhood with this loud exhaust for long.

Stainless will hold up BY FAR the best but cost more. It is worth it in my opinion. If its just the b pipe to muffler joint that can be replaced or welded without replacing the entire muffler or piping though.
If you are in a BIG bind and need something just to keep you going, those exhaust patches surprisingly work, tiger patch etc, for cheap.
It wont last forever but it'll give you time

You can get a walker stainless replacement muffler, might be around 120 or so, but that's putting it into the realm of new (like vibrant etc) or used fancy brands (greddy, apexi etc) aftermarket stainless "performance" mufflers
Some decisions to make. If it is JUST the piping and not the muffler barrel itself that is the problem, ill just replace and re weld the rusty joint
