Post D16y7 to d15b7 in 98 dx sedan

Okay so this is my first thread and I'm still new to working on cars so sorry if anything is confusing or just dumb, but my sedan is my first car its a 98 dx and after a couple months of driving everyday from November to February the d16y7 that was swapped in by the previous owner threw a rod in cylinder 4 so at that time I already had bought my second civic which is a 2000 ex coupe, I know now that a d15b7 should not of came in that car but I had already pulled it to swap a b18b into it but the rod put a hold on that and so I put the d15b7 into the 98 sedan with the ex wiring harness, p05 intake manifold,p2p ecu, obd2 dizzy and I believe its the ex throttle body because the iacv fit but after getting all the wiring and hoses down, I'm at the point where I'm cranking the engine but its not getting gas or spark but the 15 amp under the dash, pgmfi relay and the dizzy is getting power but its not sparking or giving me anything from the fuel pump, so would this be where the ckf bypass trick would be needed if I have to do that I will I've just never rewired anything like that, any help would be greatly appreciated.
