Hello looking for some help or info on what my friend with a 2000 honda prelude should do (sell as is, buy back with retitle, part out, etc). A tree branch along with wear and tear over the years has done some damage to his 2000 Prelude. His insurance doesn't want to pay enough to fix and is trying to total it out. Below are the specs and attached are what the car looks like.
* 2000 Honda prelude
* H23 sir 11xxx miles
* 5 speed
* New charging system(alternator, starter, battery) October 22
* New coolant hoses including firewall (October 22)
* New rotors and pads November 22
* Original honda radio
* All Original interior, no tears
* Has dented RR QP
* Dented RL C pillar
Id say ask around from some skilled bodyshop(s) - shouldnt be that big deal to get those dents straightened
If they get the dents fixed - new paint would be probably too expensive so next Id contact some company who do wrapping and get some wrapping designed to hide the scratch marks if they cannot be polished away
