I've tried searching the internet and YouTube for instructions on replacing the tailgate electronic lift strut off of a Honda CRV 2018 EX-L. I found a lot of material on replacing mechanical (non-electronic) lift struts but couldn't find much on electronic especially specifically for this car model. Does anyone know if there's something that exists online. I went ahead and already bought the new strut (one that I am holding) to replace the one that is damaged and no longer working that is still secured to my car; I am trying to avoid bringing it to the car repair shop if it's not too bad to replace myself. I can't seem to find how to dismantle the inner left trunk panel to access the cable that this connects to as well as how I would extend/retract the strut to connect it mechanically to the trunk. Appreciate any help in advance.
