Hello Team,

I changed my fuel lines and have been getting P505 cel. Initially, car was idling between 1,000- 2,000 rpm. I cleaned out iac valve and installed new valve. Surging stopped, but constant 900 rpm after warmup and then dreaded P505 code. No surging idle, but can’t think what to try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Checked vacuum hoses and evap lines. Thought U found something when evap return hose was not tightened. After tightening, restarted car and idle wen below 800 rpm’s. Shortly after, rpms creeped up 900+. PO 505 came back on today after a drive.
