NEED HELP! Trying to locate my granfather's 1985 Honda VT700C
I'm searching for my grandfather's 1985 Honda VT700C. The VIN is JH2RC190XFM107251 The bike was sold without the title some time in the past three years near Pawtucket, Rhode Island. My grandfather, Andy Brunelle passed away at the age of 88 early this past Friday morning, March 31st. He was a member of the now-disbanded Jesse's Roamers Motorcycle Club from Pawtucket, RI. He moved from RI to FL in 2019 to live with my aunt as his health began to decline. The bike was left with a cousin in April of 2019. I was told at the time it had an ignition problem that he was having trouble locating parts for, and he gave up trying to fix the bike because he could not longer physically ride it. It would have sold the bike in the area of Pawtucket, RI at some point in the last three years. My grandfather bought it new in 1985 and my aunt is still in possession of the title. My grandfather served in the Army in 1950s and worked for Ace Armature on Mineral Spring Avenue in Pawtucket until he retired for health reasons. He worked hard his whole life but never accumulated any wealth. This motorcycle was the only tangible thing he had to leave behind, it would mean so much to the rest of my family for us to find it and purchase it back. I realize that since it was sold without the title it may have been harvested for parts. However, even if all that is left is the frame I still want it. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
