My instrument lights went out last week. Turn signal light works, engine status lights work but no tach, speedo or fuel lights. Fuse for Instrument Panel (slot 2 in engine fuse box) is good. Dimmer set to half illumination, rotating it fully in either direction has no effect. Scratching my head.

 

Were the tangs on the fuse tarnished at all ? You may need a new cluster

 

No, they were clean. No rust evident anywhere in the fuse box. I periodically pull out and reinsert all fuses to break any oxidation layer from normal humidity.
