I have a 2018 honda hrv. The window trim around the drivers side door has started to warp and I was looking at replacing it. Honda dealership says the part is called the window run. Has anyone ever replaced it or done one? They said the only way to replace it is to take the door apart and window out. I thought it may have been easier then that. Can anyone confirm the correct way to replace it?

Interior or exterior? Can you take a photo of what you're referring to?

 

I will try and get a photo posted. It looks like it is all one long piece showing the rubber trim on the outside and inside of the window.
