Help with my JDM k24a misfire
So I have a JDM k24a into a ek hatch
my problem is that my engine is misfiring and it sound like a Subaru engine
first it was a stuck open injector so I swapped it out and put a new one in , then when I turned it on it threw out white smoke I’m assuming the extra gas after that I changed the spark plugs and check the engine and I notice that cylinder 1 nothing happens when I unplug the coil pack any ideas check spark has spark checked for gas has gas checked compression on all 4 cylinders and all cylinders came out 160 all across , I need help anyone ?

First of all congrats on having compression across all cylinders, should be a simple fix.
If unplugging #1 coil results in no change to the engine running try the following only moving onto the next step if nothing changes.
If unplugging #1 coil results in no change to the engine running try the following only moving onto the next step if nothing changes.
- swap coils 1 & 2, if the problem follows the coil its a bad coil pack
- swap injector 1 & 2 if the problem follows the injector its the injector
- Check wiring for injector (12v power and pulsed signal from ECU)
- Check wiring for coil (12v, ground and pulsed signal form ECU)

I have a k tunes full rail so I took injectors and rail off while still attached and primed the car and fuel was spitting out as normal , all 4 injectors where firing , I swapped coils all around and still no difference cylinder 1 don’t do a difference when disconnected how would I check wiring ? That’s my last option right ?
If you already did:
-compression test = OK all cylinders
-swapped coils = problem did not move/change with coils
-confirmed injectors are ok (just watching them spray fuel is not quite enough IMO, your eye will not see if there is a difference in flow from 1 injector that could be causing the issue.)
ENGINE OFF: Pull dead cylinders coil out of the engine and put a spark plug in it, rest it on the valve cover.
While the coil/plug is resting there DO NOT TOUCH IT or the engine and have someone crank over/start the engine. If you see a spark arcing on the plug the wiring is fine. If you don't see a spark then you will have to check the wiring.
K series coils are 3 wire: 12v switch power, ground and signal from ECU. If any 1 of the 3 has a short the coil will not fire. Test for 12v, ground and then signal from ECU.
