No crank after trying a different ecu

Default No crank after trying a different ecu

Hi new here need help. So from the top I did my swap to a d16z6 in my 88 crx dx I got it from a 91 civic i took the motor and trans and the p28 and the jumper everything was perfect in the civic before the swap everything went well in the crx except code 14 been trying to get that cleared up tried everything and then just picked up a p06 ecu thought what harm could it do if i try that it made a wierd noise so i decided i didnt like that and switched back now i have no crank everything powers up i can hear the click from the main fuse and the fuel pump but no crank no start what could it be

If I'm reading right, the P28 ECU was running normally after the swap, aside from a code 14?

What OBD1 conversion harness are you using? Can you describe the weird noise?

Just a guess at this point, but maybe the P06 ECU was for an automatic trans and it buggered something up along the way. There should be nothing wired to the A/T specific pins of the ECU on your car, so it isn't likely.
