Alright you guys so I bought a spoiler for my civic it was an oem si spoiler (I believe) first off I’m wondering what gasket material I need to make it sit flush or if anyone knows where I can get a gasket for it that would help, and two the little dimples where you’re supposed to drill the holes out for the spoiler do not line up with the studs on the current spoiler so I’m going to have to do a bunch of extra measuring and some cutting on the bottom of the trunk lid, does anybody have any idea why my spoiler I have doesn’t like up with the spots on the trunk? From my knowledge the spoiler is an oem Honda one because it still has the Honda logo imprint near the studs, is the trunk lid different between the si and the ex? Or do you guys think it has to do with the spoiler being wrong. The studs are off by about a half inch I have some pictures that I can show too I just need some help figuring this out

 

Hello all, I just found out I actually have an em2 spoiler I believe, well I installed it on the car anyways with a little cutting and grinding on the inside of the trunk lid and it works however I used a thick gasket so it doesn’t quiet line up right now will post a picture when I get a thin gasket on there
