Not looking to part ways with the car, currently have a 2015 Civic EXL W/NAV 265,000 miles...I'm looking to have the entire engine retooled to factory OEM specs, as well as, new suspension, shocks, wheel bearings, brakes, brake lines and calipers... I'm hoping someone in this forum can point me in the right direction to find a reliable guy who rebuilds Civic engines to factory specs..Located in NJ, but will ship the car..

 

I might be more cost effective to buy a complete engine assembly from Honda. But also that's a CVT right? I would be more concerned about the longevity of the CVT and no one rebuilds those and they are long discontinued.

 

There is still actually a reman program through Honda on the CVT transmissions. A complete short block and a cylinder head can be purchased separately and then assembled for an essentially "New" engine... although I don't know if this is lower in cost to rebuilding. If you are interested in the "New" engine path, PM me. I happen to have a BRAND NEW shortblock (at a cheaper price than they are today).
