My power steering belt is making a rattling noise in my 2000 honda civic si. I’m planning on changing the belt but i’ve also noticed that the upper pulley is wobbling. Would tightening this fix my issue? If so how tight should I make it?

 

If the P/S pulley is wobbling, then it is either loose, the bearings inside are damaged or the pump is failing. Tightening the belt will likely make things worse.
