I just bought a '99 civic dx hatchback that has a d16y7 that had a d16y8 intake manifold swap at the same time as a 5 speed manual from a 99 civic EX. The wiring was converted to a 2pin for iacv from a 3pin.
I've read a few posts similar to mine but they were over 10yrs ago.
My idle was really low when I bought it. I clean the TB & IACV then put it back together. Car Jerks a bit in 2nd gear when pressing & letting up off the gas and it now idles around 1300rpm. It seems a bit high tho.
In the morning i plan to make sure the connections are connected where they're meant to go. Checking for vacuum leaks and reached out to previous owner on everything he did for the manual swap.
