B20b swapped ‘94 del Sol
I have a ‘94 del Sol that I just bought. Previous owner said that the distributer went out according to mechanic he had check it out. When I tested for spark, I found that cylinder 1 had no spark due to a faulty wire. I got new wires, and also a new distributer rotor because the old one was corroded. After that it still didn’t start. I checked the crank/cam timing, they were in time. I then checked the firing order and corrected that. Still no start. I’m not 100% about the firing order on the distributer cap, so send pics if possible. I then tested fuel pump, it works. Fuel rail and injectors work. The motor has compression of about 170 on average. The motor has a turbo that spins freely and there are no harsh turns or cuts. I even took the intake pipes off the front just to check. All of this and still no start. I’m new to the Honda platform and was wondering if anyone had advice. I’m going to check grounds and wiring next but that is a tedious process so if anyone has suggestions hmu. The engine swap was not done by me and the wiring was mainly done with butt connectors which are know for failing.
