Hi guys, new here. So I’ve got a 2000 accord v6 and it has a random missfire. Bought it from a longtime coworker who dailyed it and took good care of it. Did oil change, trans oil, air filter, spark plugs and cleaned the iac (fluctuated when I got it, it sat for a few months). Drove it for 6 months and ran great. Sold it to my gf and it started giving her problems after 3 months. We got back from a small trip and went to go drive the car (still warm) and started w a knarly miss. Wouldn’t idle and died. Tried it two more times and it seemed to have cleared itself out. No issues for a few weeks and then boom did it again. CEL for misfire on any cylinder. Swapped coil packs with no change. Runs great and drives great but every so often it does this and I’m stumped. Any ideas? Maybe a crank or cam position sensor on its way out? It’s intermittent which is why I am having trouble narrowing it down, and I’m not super familiar with the j30. TIA!
