TL;DR - VSA & Traction Control light is on after wiring subwoofers, VSA button doesnt work and i have 3 VSA codes.



Decided to add subs to my sound system after 2 months with the car, couldn’t find a way to run the power cable for the amp, so i thought of a dumbass idea to poke a hole through this rubber piece in the firewall where a harness was also going through. Might’ve punctured a wire and that could be the reason why but i have no clue if it is. Everything was good, subs were ok, but after a drive around i quickly noticed my VSA and TC on. Used a OBD2 and got 3 codes out of it (27-11 Steering Angle Sensor Diag Signal Error, 86-1 F-CAN Bus-Off Malfunction,83-13 ECM/PCM Relation Failure. I wanna know what i really messed up on, what wire, cable, fuse, module, idk. I cant seem to figure out where to start. Im stuck at a huge loss here, car seems to drive horrible now too. Someone save my car.



Rubber around harness where i decided to poke a hole through, so i can run the power cable for the AMP, i think i might have punctured a wire and thats why i have the lights on but i cant get the rubber off to check. ( I know, theres an easier way to run the cable through)

27-11 Steering Angle Sensor Diag Signal Error

83-13 ECM/PCM Relation Failure

86-1 F-CAN Bus-Off Malfunction

 

Pull the harness out and inspect it for damage. I believe the steering angle sensor runs through there out to the ABS module.
