94 Accord wagon exhaust vs. 4dr exhaust
My exhaust was stolen from my 94 wagon, and I was told the wagon exhaust was specific to the wagon. I'm having a hard time waiting for a wagon to come to the wreckers, while there seem to be plenty of 4dr Accords. My question is: How specific is it? The wheelbase and length are the same in both models, and whoever welds up my new system is going to have to do a bit of tailoring anyway., with an aftermarket cat, etc. There must be a hack for this? Please point me in the right direction - I couldn't find a thread about this. Many thanks for your sage wonderful wisdom! BTW I think the 95's are the same as the 94's, 96 got half inch longer, with same wheelbase. 97 also same wheelbase, but even longer.
The I4 4-door and the wagon are identical from the engine to the B-pipe. What is different is the muffler. The wagon does not have the notch in the bumper in the place as the sedan or coupe and instead has an S-Bend on the backside. The other difference is the size of the piping. If you have an LX, I want to say its like 1.75" piping and the EX is like 2". Regardless, When it comes to a Sedan vs a wagon, everything from the rear doors forwards sheet metalwise is the same for the 4banger engine models. Some differences are more like the wiring and the fact that the wagon has its rear speakers in the doors and thus uses a different harness and has a different set of rear seats.
