Anyone ever hear of jdm (Stanley) acrylic headlights for an EG6?
I have a chance to buy some for my car right now and want to know if the looks of these are comparable to jdm ones. The seller claims they are jdm. From my understanding, jdm style have a darker painted reflector inside the lens. These appear to have a slight tint to the glass making them appear greyish in color. I'm not all about cheasy mods for my car. I don't want to get flamed for the wrong reasons. I want headlights that are going to look as good as jdm. I banged up my car and need to make a purchase on headlights soon. Pleas help.

jdm eg civic headlights are just clear plastic with a city light. btw stanley is honda's oem supplier for lights. look at your stock headlights and corners and tails they should say stanley on them.
same headlight/beam pattern....only difference is no nipples(laugh like a schoolgirl) and a city light.....oh yeah they are made of plastic too.....i like the US versions better becuase they are glass, therefore you wont have to worry about them scuffing or oxidating from the inside down the road
are you sure the beam pattern is the same? cause looking at a jdm headlight you can see the reflector is rectangular, as opposed to the round us version.
Im pretty sure the pattern is different, the lights is more spread out compared to the usdm ones.
Also search around there is a jdm oe aftermarket company that sell jdm headlights in glass. [trust me i have seen them in person and my friend has them on his eg] no more worrying about oxidation and the other problems with plastic headlight.

the jdm eg headlights are cool not because they are jdm..but because they have a better light output.
HID in jdm EG headlights produces a better beam then HID in usdm headlights.
mtk kommander says u can modify a oem d2_ HID bulb..by making metal tabs like the h4h to hold the bulb into place..

You guys are silly. I guess most of you jump the gun on subjects such as these. If you were to read my entire thread, you'd realize that I "need" these to replace a broken headlamp assembly, not "want" them to try and pose with you. You'all prolly have ground kits huh? I'm merely looking to replace my lights with something that looks as good as stock if not better. Trust me, I don't even use the word "kit" when I'm describing what I want my car to look like.
Thanks, I think I got it now.

Thunderlips and anyone I might of offended. I'm sorry for jumping the gun myself. I was having a bad day. I misinterpreted one of the threads. I'm seriously at fault. Sorry. I thought someone was being sarcastic about the lights being really light weight. Do the H4H produce white or bluish light? I want a nice pure white.
Thanks again for the info and great cars too.
