I have a gsr swap in my 92 vx hatch and i’m on my second throttle body the first one was junk when i got the car and the second one is all-right but has a bad issue sticking and running off. I have cleaned and adjusted as i could but seems to be a loss. I was wondering what a better alternative is or a better replacement than risking buying one that may have a similar issue off ebay. Also wouldn’t i have to swap the cable pulley if i get any different ones i thought the gsr had a specific one?

What intake manifold and throttle cable are you using.

 

Can you post a photo of the cable and bracket?

 

that will definitely help i believe the gsr has a specific bracket and cable that has to be used if using the stock manifold. When I did my swap I used all oem gsr items and it worked perfectly.

 

It’s the stock gsr manifold and throttle body currently

 

What about the throttle cable bracket if using the oem gsr one you may just need to adjust the amount of tension.
