B16A2 Dist rebuild parts question
Buddy of mine who is a diesel mechanic stripped down the distributor on my 99si b16a2 (stopped working) and wondering where's the best place to look for and buy the replacement components to completely rebuild it?
Local auto zone has some of the components however would like to use OEM parts if possible.

Rockauto.com is worth checking out.
Any local dealer website IE Majestic Honda or Hondapartsnow can also be checked.
If all else fails you can check amayama.com/en - They're a Japanese OEM Honda supplier that has reasonable shipping overseas. Their stock tends to include some things that are no longer available in the US.

Doesn't look like Honda really offered much in the way of replacement parts for that distributor. You can still get the OEM cap, cover, rotor, coil and ignitor from Honda, but the body, seals, and rotating assembly will need to be sourced elsewhere like @Chance EG said or pulled from a junkyard distributor from something like a Integra or Del Sol VTEC if you can find it.
What "Needs" to be replaced inside of your distributor ? If the shaft, pick-ups and wiring are all functioning... leave them alone and use them. Do NOT replace them with any junk from an auto parts store or online source. The shaft seal and bearings are Honda "Motorcycle" parts and can be sourced through a Cycle Dealership/Parts Department. Cap, Rotor Button, Coil and ICM can still be purchased from Honda.
