I have a 2012 Honda Civic LX. Yesterday, as I was leaving from CVS, I heard a bang sound, when I press the gas pedal and it was making a loud muffler sound.
I put on my emergency lights and pulled into a open road and parked. When I got outside of the car, I took a picture of this




Correct me if I am wrong, is this pipe welded to the muffler as one piece?
Looking at the Honda part diagram, it seems like I can't order the pipe only.
Part #13 Muffler, Ex - Honda (18307-TR6-A01)
Based on that pipe condition, I am worried that it might break even further if a mechanic welded it back to the square piece.
I am looking around some shops locally if they have in stock and on hand, that way I can look in person if that end square piece matches. Then I can just hand over the muffler to the mechanic and have him replace it entirely.

 

You are correct. That pipe comes free with the muffler.
