Problems with D15b
What's up guys, new on Honda tech. Have a couple things wrong with my motor. First Off I think i have a blown head gasket. but not sure. The reason I say that is, that I get oil in my coolant. Car does not over heat, can drive car for like a good 60miles. but will throw coolant to my reservoir. So on the way back i have to refill the radiator with the coolant that got thrown to the reservoir. Also when i change my oil, There is no coolant in their mixed with the oil. Has anyone ever came across this issue? I don't want to do the head gasket for it to still do the same thing. I also heard worst caser scenario it could be a creak in a block. Any help would gladly be appreciated.
What by means are you noticing oil in your coolant? Do you notice a milky oil like substance on the underside of the oil cap? Or just the coolant looks like it has a oily substance in it?
First could be from multiple short trip drives that accumulate water vapor on the cap not allowing the engine to heat up enough to evacuate the water vapor in the engine case, second the coolant system may be full of scaling. Try doing a coolant system flush using the flush additive and running the engine with it in then allow it to cool before draining. Also then try using a new radiator cap because it might not be holding its pressing allowing it into the overflow tank early.
So most likely just a bad rad cap
I don't think it's oil in your coolant because if it's mixing its going to show in both area's, in the coolant and in the oil.
Could with the engine cool, have the rad cap off and let the engine start warming up watching for constant bubbling which would indicate a possible blown head gasket just to check.. Could also buy a cheap compression tester and do it yourself to verify a good or bad head gasket.

what the reservoir look like when cold? Is antifreeze at the cold mark? Are you gaining or loosing oil?
Does the oil look like a chocolate milkshake?
Take off the radiator cap (cold engine) start the car. Does the coolant bubble and fly out of the radiator? That oil looking stuff in the radiator could be from when the car was originally assembled.
Do a compression test and a leak down test. That will tell you if the headgasket is bad
