I know we all have come across the boom of HID - well anyway I have a 98 R I recently sold my 2000 R w/ jdm conversion - getting to the point I'm trying to get the quality of the true jdm hid healights. Why is that so impossible? Is it the lens that the jdm hid housing has - I have compared the jdm non-hid and jdm hid projector and it is smaller in size. So how do I get that qualtiy of OEM hid . FYI I had the philips HID kit 4300k from Trevor on my 2000 ITR - it was nice but still did'nt look the same. Any suggestions....

It should be the projector lens that makes all the difference. HID projectors will put out the lighting and looks better than any non-hid projector.
