B20v wire harness issue

Default B20v wire harness issue

I just finish a Ek hatch with a build b20v but having issue starting if I spray alittle bit of starter fluid into tb just alittle it start rite up and stay running for one full day and will start liek a normal car but next day no so I heard it’s can be something simple and all parts on engine brand new like fuel lines aftermarket and pump and gas and injection and engine harness and etc and I just seen this plug from harness where it goes to me ecu and maybe is this or I want to find out what this plug for anyone can help and mt cluster not working onlt temp and gas work but I think it’s mt speed sensor so I order a new one already and I change cluster and still the same can anyone tell me what is this plug for

You have a '99-00 Chassis and the engine harness that you are trying to use is from a '96-98 Civic. The unused grey plug that you are referring to in your photo above has most of the wires that go to your instrument cluster and this is why it isn't working. You need a '99-00 Civic EX or Si engine harness and modify it to fit your B20VTEC engine and you will be just fine. Don't forget to purchase an OBD-2B -> OBD-1 conversion harness. The 2A conversion harness that you have now will not work.

Yo Thankx you so so much man you a life saver man Foreal i appreciate the help Foreal I got my self a obd2b harness si and made it fit my dizzy and etc and now my car stsrt like a normal car and cluster and fuel pump working how it should Thankx so much man god bless

Ok this one wires it’s on and my car won’t start does anyone know where this wire goes to it’s bt dizzy plug but I have all wires conntect so this a extra one I’m not sure where it’s goes it’s a solid green with a yellow strip

The Green/Yellow wire is the VTEC Solenoid wire... it will NOT keep the engine from starting. What is happening with your distributor wiring ? It looks like a hot mess... so is it possible that something is incorrectly wired there ?

Ok I got the civic running again but it’s sound bad like a misfire so I didn’t remember how to put the injector plugs back on so I think I have the color mess bad does anyone know what colors wires goes to what injector I seen a few post but it’s all diff colors I seen

All four fuel injector clips have a yellow/black 12v power wire. The ground pulse wire from the ECU to each injector is as follows (cylinder 1 is closest to the timing belt, cylinder 4 is closest to the distributor): 1 - Brown, 2 - Red, 3 - Blue, and 4 - Yellow.

Ok Thanxk so much I seen a few post is this one path but other way around lol and I did it how they said maybe this why my car misfire now
