Power Steering Pump Replacement Suggestions
2004 6 Speed Accord Euro (USA Acura TSX), Narrowed my issues down to a failing power steer pump, whines and screams when cold and when warm no issues although steering gets difficult occasionally.
Anyone that has actually replaced one, which one specifically did you use and from where.
Been through 1 junkyard pump and 1 new cheap DOA pump so im after a quality replacement at this point.
I tried going to Honda New Zealand and they quoted me $1600 USD and has to ship from overseas, not happening.

Did you already replace the o ring on the plastic inlet elbow? That is a known issue. Lets air around the o-ring when cold and causes the pump to howl.
If you end of buying a pump absolutely do not buy the Chinese **** out there. It's completely trash. The outside looks stock but the inside has under sized parts and the pump is not variable displacement like stock. This runs the pump at full load all the time cooking the fluid and the pump and killing fuel economy and it's loud.
Find a good used factory Honda pump or buy a new factory Honda pump. They aren't cheap but they are worth every cent.

I've changed the o-ring on the bottom side hose (the one that was updated to an orange o-ring), still the same. Havent done the top side hose o ring though i will try it.
