I have a 2007 fn2 k20z4 that has been decated and both sensors removed. I wanna put it on the track. So I need to place two new sensors back in to stop it going into limp mode. My question is I also have the same year type s model would swapping the sensors from the type s to the type r work? And if not does anyone have any advice on how to obtain sensors at a reasonable price. As Google comes up with absurd prices sensors. Any help is well appreciated

 

You need at least the upstream sensor. It controls the air fuel ratio. Probably runs like garbage without it.

Without a cat the downstream sensor won't be doing anything and isn't required. You will need a tune to disable the P0420 for the missing cat.
