I am new here, and first time posting. I have a 1995 Honda Del Sol in good shape, but there are always some parts to be old and need to replace. Currently, I may need to replace Axle and Rack in 6 months, but it is too expensive to replace them at dealship. Does anyone familar with Del Sol and would like to hlep to replace them? I will order the parts from eBay and pay your labor fee. Thanks a lot! BTW, I live in Princeton, New Jersey area. I really like my Del Sol, but if I cannot a guy can help to repalce them, I may sale it.

 

car looks fairly clean. If you are willing to learn, working on cars isn't too hard. With some basic tools, you should be able to do the work yourself. I'm sure there are plenty of people near you that wouldn't mind lending a hand.

Working on your Del Sol is a form of meditation. Don't let another take that pleasure from you. :-)

check with a local mechanic. dont need to go to the dealership.
just keep in mind that there will be more things that will need replacement down the road.

i suggest you get yourself a craftsman special mechanics tool set to get you familiarized with tools and how they work.
there is a lot of resources out there. youtube being the largest.
watch, understand, apply, and succeed.

if you are not able to afford regular service and do not want to spend on the tools, you might as well not own this type of machinery.

 

There's also plenty of writeups on here about basically everything you need to fix your del sol
it shares the same chassis as the 1992-1995 civic so most of the parts should be the same
