Do 5th gen civics need a "Line output converter"?
Of course... you would need a pair of RCA plugs (red and white) on the back of the radio to plug directly into an aftermarket amp. The line converter turns speaker leads into RCA plugs.
I know this is a dumb question but is the head unit what the stereo connects into? Or is it the stereo system that has an eject button? The stereo that can pop in and out is aftermarket but I believe the rest is stock. Although there is a AUX cord that isnt connected to the front of the stereo so maybe not?
