Default Clean up

Hello everyone,
So, I recently picked up a 2006 Civic LX. While i know she's no speed demon, i really want to perform some mods for both asthetics and quality of life. Now, I've googled and searched. But, one thing I can't find a good answer to is this... and please forgive me if it sounds like it's been asked a million times. But, can you do a wire tuck without removing the engine? I don't really have a lot of room in my driveway to have a car and an engine sitting. So, if the answer is no, then I'll likely have to skip this particular course of action. I am trying to make a much space in my engine bay as I can, so if I need to work on her, I have room. I'm already working on getting everything to relocate the battery to the trunk. Again, not asking how to do a tuck. I can find a lot of those videos. The issue is, all of the vids I've found the engine has already been removed. Thank you in advance.

Ryan

Default Re: Clean up

Wire tuck is going to make servicing the engine an absolute nightmare.

Not to mention the litany of issues that are going to crop up from doing a wire tuck. Both immediately and down the road.

Save yourself the time and effort and leave it alone.

Honda for the most part does an excellent job of keeping service in mind when designing these things.
