Default Larger battery that can fit in 5th gen civic

Hello everyone, I just got a 800 watt amps and 600 watt sub, Im sure ill need alternator and battery upgrades, likely wiring upgrades too id guess. When looking for a larger battery what specs are important? Id assume Ah (Ampere hour) and maybe reserve capacity
Thank you all

unless you plan to run the stereo for long durations with the car not running the stock battery is fine. I had close to twice that running on the stock battery and factory alternator for more than a year with no issues.
Quality power and grounds are key.

Thank you guys, Think I'll get a new battery now since I need to give it gas to start about once every 2-3 weeks.
Also I will probably be running the stereo with the car off most days for about 10-20 minutes and on the weekends for 30mins-1hour.

Also kinda random but you guys have any idea how long a civic would have to ideal to burn a half gallon of gas? or just D series in general.

are you going to put a capacitor in for the sub? if not then plan on a new alternator. The amperage shock will kill the alternator if the engine is on. If you want a SERIOUS thumping stereo here is what I would do.
Stock alternator with 2 batteries, one for starting and what not, then a battery isolator hooked to the biggest deep cell battery that you can afford to run the stereo.. The isolator will protect the cars electronics from any goofiess that the stereo will produce. The deep cell (charged by the alternator but ISOLATED from the engine) will absorb all the shock that the thumping from bass, yet bet charged by the alternator.
My stepson did that once without any of this and cost me an alternator AND a battery, then uncerioumonsly it was ripped out.
