Default Replacing 1992 Honda Accord Wagon Trunk/Hatch Lock Cylinder

Hi Everyone,
Got an obscure one here, hopefully someone has dealt with this before. I had the rear hatch on my 1992 Honda Accord wagon replaced, and it didn't occur to me until I had it home to ask about swapping the lock cylinder from my old hatch to the new one. Has anyone done this before, or have any tips? I have my old hatch, and the lock is still functional, however these hatch locks were in the taillight and the assembly on my old one is cracked, so I'm hoping that only the lock can be removed and replaced.

I haven't found any info about this on the internet, so thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Just curious, did you try it yet? It should be designed in a way that would allow it to be removed or replaced to be worked on.

After the trim panel is removed, there is a mounting bolt holding the cylinder. Then see instructions.
