Whenever I start my car sometimes it will not crank and to remedy the issue I will have to either depress the brake pedal all the way or turn the headlights and highbeams on. I don't know why pressing the brakes and turning on the headlights fixes this issue, but I would have to assume it is electrical because of this. Has anyone else come across this problem before?

 

I always step on the brake when I start the car. I never tried starting my car without doing this!

I see many pages saying you need to do this, but others saying you don't.

If there weren't several inches of snow on my Accord I would go and see!
