Hey everyone, the question is are EG awd conversions easier with K series engines? I would love to make my eg awd but its pretty damn expensive and takes a lot of work (from what ive heard its usually at least 4K+) Just wondering if it would be more simple with K series because i dont think any D series engines were ever put in a awd vehicle and ik the K's went in plenty. Civic Wagovan 88-91 were AWD with a D series
CRV was AWD with a B20

For an AWD conversion alone, I don't think there'd be any considerable difference between B/D/K in terms of difficulty.

 

Integra came d series awd.

Do some more researching.

 

Oh interesting, which model was AWD D?

 

Some generations of the Honda HRV had a D-series AWD transmission.

 

DC1 and DB6 were fwd zc and DB9 was awd zc.
Is it the same d series though?
