i swapped my 1996 honda civic to a b18a1 and the fuel isn't coming at all
so I recently swapped my civic motor to a b18a1 and we just reused the d series harness. it was running before. we also are using a gsr ecu. do yall have any ideas why the fuel isn't sending or priming at all? we're also having no spark but we've narrowed that down to the distributor.
Fuel pump isn't priming? Try swapping back to the D-series ECU and see if the fuel pump will prime - don't worry about cranking. If the fuel pump will prime with the original D-series ECU and won't with the P72, you've probably got bad capacitors in the ECU. Best case scenario is you replace the capacitors and it works. Worst case is the leaking capacitors have damaged the traces and other components around them, and you'll need a new ECU.

Did you paint the block or transmission ? Do you have a good ground between the transmission case and the right frame rail ? Where is your engine harness ground connected ?
So you've ruled out the issue being with the ECU. I agree - you need to check all your grounds. Your engine harness ground should be attached at the thermostat housing. Without this the ECU will not get power.
