F20B2 should the same as an F22B2 with the exception of the crank and rods.

You can use any H/F series FWD transmission of your choosing, except ATTS transmissions or very early H2A5 stamped transmissions.

Welcome the_new_guy, I have the same engine as you F20B2 SOHC non-vtec. Where are you based if I can ask?

Any F series or H series gearbox / manual tranny will work for your swap. so for example f22b2 or f22b1 manual gearbox, or h22 gearbox.

Regarding parts that are interchangeable,
closest honda engine to yours is f22b2

Most parts in the head are identical
Same: valves, valve seals, head, all gaskets (possibly besides intake manifold)

In the block, piston rings are the same

Intakes and exhausts are the same etc

Main difference is the f20b2 has a different tec distributor, it uses different spark plugs (NGK 6 heat, or Denso 20 heat for f20b2), and in some markets, CD4 accords with the f20b2 did NOT come with anti-lock brakes (ABS)

It is a bit confusing since F20B is a VTEC DOHC 16v engine with a lot more performance than ours. Thet "bluetop" DOHC F20 is 180hp in automatic, and 200 in manual transmission

Then we have f20b2 which is SOHC non-vtec 16v. From what I understand, the f20b2 was mostly sold to middle east market, but somehow we also got it sold to us in the Caribbean (where I am). I am not 100% sure the exact horsepower of our engine but I think it would be between 130 and 145 hp.

They are very different engines, so F20B2 is much closer to F22B2 sold in the us (SOHC, non-vtec 16v)
