Has anyone repaired a cargo cover? The one I have is splitting where the brackets closest to the rear seats are. So if you were looking at the image below, the bottom brackets at a 45 degree angle have a crease/crack.

Wondering if I could just get a metal bracket made to web between the 4 posts to reinforce it. Thanks in advance!

 

I'd search around and see if you can find any local upholstery shop to you, and ask them.

What you're proposing sounds like a good idea though.

 

Bracket repairs are ugly but they work. Yes it's doable!
