I recently bought an 01 Accord Coupe LX Manual. my mechanic ran codes and said I had some codes for the ABS modulator. I don’t remember which ones they were specifically, but he strongly suggested replacing the thing entirely. The part itself is around $1200 which is a lot for me, is it a smart/ safe idea to get one from a junkyard as a replacement?

 

I'm not sure about 6th gen ABS modulators but 5th gens can be hit or miss. I'd say if its cheap enough from your local junkyard, go for it.
