Default Re: 2000 Accord rear disk conversion.

searching first is encouraged.

99 LX Accord Rear Disc Conv.
6th Gen Rear Disc Conv.

'98-'02 2.3l, 4cyl EX trim would be the easy donor vehicle. Acura 2.3CL may also be compatible. Suggested in the linked thread, a more comprehensive upgrade which is to do a 5 lug conversion to use the V6 equipped brakes (bigger), though this also requires new wheels and tires. it's more of a commitment but in my opinion more worthwhile for the effort.

For 4-lug: use Hondapartsnow.com or similar to compare P/Ns between drum (DX/VP/LX) and disk (EX) for things like the brake lines, park brake cable, proportioning valve... maybe even the master cylinder to be sure all bases are covered. As mentioned in the linked threads, both rear hub carrier/corner assemblies are needed as well as the E-brake cable. I suggest finding a good donor vehicle in a self-serve salvage yard and grabbing all related components. Then use the calipers for the core charge on some rebuilds and replace the rotors and pads.
