Working on my 2000 honda accord ex 5 speed 4 cylinder. How in the heck do you remove the clutch master cylinder? It's way deep inside the strut tower and there are so many lines in the way including the brake booster. Any links to a video, or the easiest way??
It's mounted with (2) studs that have nuts, the nuts are 12mm I believe and are removed from inside the car. You'll need to crawl up under the dash and remove them, you will see them on the pedal assembly/bracket. The hardline (clutch pressure outlet) is going to also have to be removed, this is done from the engine bay, I recommend a crows foot wrench or "line" wrench, these will give you the most "grab" without stripping (then can be a pain to use because you only have so much "swing" to make with the wrench and you'll have to keep removing the wrench and re-positioning it). As far as things in the way, move/remove what you have to. I would pinch of the reservoir feed line, remove it from the master cylinder, remove the reservoir and drain it out, then go about the mounting studs and hardline. The brake booster shouldn't be in the way too much, it might be as far as getting access to the master but when it comes to actually removing the master you can work it by.
