Seats... Dreaded seats...
So! Running into my second big problem with my car. Hopefully yall can clue me in a bit. As my intro post states, I picked up a 1991 EF/ED hatch for $400 but the seats were very worn. Reading up on everything I saw basically "save the Floorplan, save the seat rails, put on new seat." So I went to the local scrap yard and picked up some pretty okay (mediocre at best) 92 Civic seats (with the non removeable headrest) and proceeded to get to work. I chose them because theybwere the closest and best looking set I could find, trying to make the car something of a daily driver. In the swap I realized the seat belt receiver is attached in a way different way and is slowly becoming more of a pain. Also a bit of a "clean the side yard" chore by the wife led to the rest of the parts to the old seat getting tossed. So I'm at the point I just want to throw some "pretty okay" new seats in the car or if there is an excellent swap choice that's super simple and plenty of (I'm not looking to hunt SI seats). As long as I have the rail mounting/sliders I should be able to mount a seat right? I don't need to look at these mounting brackets? Thanks in advance!
Not to be smart, but do some google searching on the subject. There are lots of topics out there on it.
The short of it is, that most seats from Hondas of the same decade will swap in, though it may entail changes to your body, the rails, swapping the seat pans, and likely some welding.

I did read it, and at the end the only questions I saw were:
Which I parsed as a seat swap question. This will require more research on your part, as there isn't a simple drop in replacement and they all will require some modification.
If you are also asking about aftermarket seats, they do make brackets for our car but I don't have any experience there.
If you want something anecdotal, S2000 seats look remarkably close in terms of bracket fitment and almost look like a drop-in replacement. I only know this because I owned one for a while, and played around with the idea but never went through with it.
Best of luck
