2015 Civic LX coupe

So my side airbag deployed after a recent accident but honestly was weird it even went off. I have since repaired everything except replacing the side airbag parts but the mechanic said the light couldn’t be reset without replacing those parts first.

Was wondering if there was a way you guys might know of to get the info and light to stop alarming every time I start the car? All the info I have found relates to an orange 2 wire connector but there is nothing like that I can see on my civic.

 

Nope, the SRS computer is expecting to see an airbag ignitor connected and it isn't there. The SRS unit will also need to be replaced or sent off for refurbishing. There is no way to clear a deployment event from an SRS computer with a scan tool of any kind.
