Can a L15b7 be swapped into a EG civic?
Hello everyone, I was thinking about trying to swap in a L15b7 from a 10th gen Si into my 92 civic vx. I was just wondering if I would have to get a wiring harness from a 10th gen civic or if I could get a stand alone. Was also curious how hard it would be to get the axles and transmission to connect. The reason I want to swap with this engine is because the 10th gen civic has 205hp and 192ft-tq and gets 26/36 mpg, It also weights about 750-850 more lbs so in my civic itd be getting even better mileage and would be pretty damn quick. Let me know what you all think thank you.
Not by someone with no basic or working knowledge of either vehicle in question which is obvious by the questions you're asking. Do some basic research for the next few weeks and read instead of starting new threads with basic questions.
Im asking these questions because there isnt much information on L swapping EG's and I know newer engines are a lot more complicated and complex. From my research besides a l15b7 engine and a L15b7 manual transmission I would need a honda fit right axle while my existing left axle will work. hasport makes a motor mount kit for the l15b7 in a EG civic, and an ECU. Is there anything I am missing and can anyone confirm if the honda fit right axle will work or how I can confirm?
Hasport doesn't show mounts available for that application on their website. The wiring and ECU integration will be VERY CHALLENGING, so if you are not comfortable with this, you should consider alternative swap options.

Mounts are likely the least of your issues. You will need to plan on a dedicated ecu for this project. GDI capable ecus are still fairly pricey, and keep in mind that tuning a GDI engine is much more involved than tuning a port injection engine.
