Looks nice. It should work like any other brace.

 

Actually that is a very nice home made piece, your friend did a REALLY nice job on the bending and welding.

looks real nice . i'm in the process of makin me some rear strut bars. i'm havin my dad draw it up on Pro-E. and his friend is goin to laser cut it for me. hopefully it comes out jus as good as yours.

That bar is a lot better than some aftermarket bars out there like those OBX-R or Ractive, hehe

actually its nothing like the carbing bar.... the carbing type II is a 3-point design that mounts to the firewall.

here is a dumb question, if its called a strut bar why doesnt it bolt up to the struts??

Ive seen some that do and some that dont?

I see no point in the triangleation like the carbing bar b/c if you take off the wipers and the cowl thing you see there is nothing to support the brace if you did triangleulate to the firewall so use less in my opinion

and in price i dont know
all i know is ----its made of stainless that they bead blasted it---
