Selling Prelude Dilemma
I'm thinking of selling my Prelude, it's an '01 SE, only 155k km on it.
Reason for selling? This might be sacrilegious to say on this forum but I came across a mint Corvette that stole my heart.
I love my Prelude, and for the longest time my idea was to hold onto it for as long as I could and sell it later down the road 20ish years from now.
My issue is that the cars got rust, not just surface and it would cost a fortune to get it all refreshed and refinished.
If I'm set on this Corvette and I'd put the funds from my Prelude into buying it, does it make sense to sell it now as opposed to holding onto it long enough for the rust to totally degrade it's value(Specifically there's rust within the wheel wells, the bottom of the trunk and the trunk lid itself)
TLDR: should I sell my rusting prelude with the value it has now to afford a mint Corvette? Or instead skip on the Vette and risk the Prelude rusting itself out of value over time

Wats the price?
