so I have a pretty straight forward question that may be deemed stupid to some. I just recently picked up a 89 sedan with a d16a6 with horrible rod knock. I got a free d16y5 block today and was wondering if I can swap out the bottom ends without changing the ecu, wire harness or head studs. any information is well appreciated. eventually I want to rebuild the a6 bottom end but don't have the funds just yet with Christmas around the corner.
