Replaced shifter bushings in my manual 98 Honda Civic (circled in red). Now have this type of clicking/creaking sound whenever the engine torques/bucks mainly when taking off from a stop.
Can not hear it during braking, turning, or cruising. From inside sounds like it’s coming from passenger side dashboard area almost like plastic creaking but at same time like it’s from engine area.
Really hard to pinpoint. Does not sound like it’s from shifter area itself. Any ideas? (Attached video of the noise)
