Default 07 Pilot fwd ECU

Hi, we had to put a JDM engine into our 07 fwd Pilot. We are getting a code P0339 (Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Intermittent) along with a VSA / Caution light on the dash. To try to remedy these we have: 1) installed 3 different Crank position sensors including the OEM one), Two different timing belts (OEM), and changed out the camshaft gears with the old American engine. Without a solution, we took it to the Honda dealer who said it was a ground issue and they tore the car apart looking for it, but couldn't find it. They put the OEM timing belt and sensor on. They are now suggesting that the ECU on the JDM engine is different than the American one. I don't know if this is true. Is there a source to see if the ECU's are different and if so, where to purchase one? Thanks in advance for looking at this post and any good advice that comes from you. Ted
